Information on how to get an account

Schools and Settings in Kent and Medway

At present the Online e-Safety Policy Generator is only available automatically for Schools and Settings in Kent and Medway. If you are a Kent or Medway school, please fill in the registration form here to apply for an account.

All completed forms are collection and will be approved by an administrator as soon as possible. Please note this can take several days to be checked and processed so please be patient. If you urgently require an account then please contact the e-Safety Officer at esafetyofficer@kent.gov.uk

Schools and settings are allowed one account per establishment in order to enable the key stakeholders to work collaboratively to develop the policy. It is recommended that the e-Safety Coordinator or e-Safety lead for the school signs up for the account in order to ensure the correct person is responsible for the document and any updates that may be required.

The Online Generator may be updated on a regular basis according to new legislations and guidance which tends to move rapidly in this area. We recommend that the lead for e-Safety checks the site for any updates frequently.

If you have any comments, enquiries or feedback then please contact esafetyofficer@kent.gov.uk

Schools/Settings and Local Authorities outside of Kent and Medway

We welcome other Local Authorities to use the Online Policy Generator with their schools and can set Authorities up with an Adminstration account to use and update accordingly. This means that the Policy Generator can be tailored according to the locality and reduces the administration required. Please contact the e-Safety Officer to discuss the process: esafetyofficer@kent.gov.uk

If you are from a School or Setting oustide of Kent and Medway then please contact your e-Safety lead from your Local Authority regarding registering to use the site. Alternatively, please contact the e-Safety Officer with any relevant contact details.
